Today, I was looking for information on the upcoming St. Bernard council and mayoral elections on November 7, 2023. Despite seeing so many beautiful yard signs, I was unable to find much information about our candidates and their views! I am starting this site to provide our community with a local (or “hyperlocal” as the newsies like to say these days) source of information. These will be stories about St. Bernard, brought to you from St. Bernard.
Initially, we plan to focus on the upcoming election. In the near future we hope to add:
- Local events
- Editorials
- Local sports
- School news
- Local business spotlights
- Lost & found pets
- Coverage for all aspects of St. Bernard politics
- and other local news
We hope that down the line we can grow with the support of the community and ultimately add some more great items, including:
- Local interest stories about citizens
- Features for academically-excelling students
- Student athlete features
- Apartment listings & classifieds
- The ability for businesses to advertise
